Figurative Painter Suzan Williams is fond of capturing emotion in the moment and creating images that are soothing and serene. Soft pastels allow Suzan's love of color and the immediacy of the medium to come shining through.

Suzan is greatly influenced by her travels to Desolation Sound and the San Juan Islands as well as her frequent visits to Santa Fe, New Mexico. She enjoys capturing the serenity of the water and the magic of light. This Artist is also inspired by world renowned Artists Nicolai Fechin, Ramon Kelley, Harley Brown, and Albert Handell.

Pastel Artist Suzan Williams now calls the Pacific Northwest her home having just celebrated twenty years living in the Seattle area. Originally from Texas where she obtained a Business Degree from Texas Tech University, she welcomes the lushness and vibrancy of Seattle. It was in the Northwest that she discovered her love of pastels and her artistic talent. After thirteen years of semi private art instruction by Hungarian born Artist Ilona Rittler, Suzan has become a full time Pastel Artist.
